| I finally hit lvl 40 in WoW. But I am starting to get really pissed off at blizzard because my fucking server is always full when I try to log on. Well, not always, but usually between the hours of 7pm and like 11pm. It really blows because then I have to wait to get into the server. This especially sucks because I am on a wireless LAN that refreshes every so often. When it will refresh, I have no idea. So I can just randomly be kicked off, as just happened, then I have to wait inline to get back on the fucking server. If blizzard were smart, they would have the characters be pc save instead of server save. That way, you could take your character to a server that is not full. When my dad started playing on Bronzebeard there was hardly anybody on it and for the past several months I have been on the same server so that he and I could go questing together but now the damn thing is packed. I don't want to change servers because then I have to start all over again which fucking sucks. But anyway, just a small thing to rant about while I am waiting to get onto my fucking server. I am going to go have a cigarette now and maybe when I get back, enough people will have been booted and I can get in. | | |
| Why in the fuck do people have to change so drastically. I mean, I understand that people change. Hell, I have done it on occasion. But why so much at once? You can tell a hell of a lot about a person by the company they keep. Back to WoW. And he could NEVER whoop my ass. | | |
| Well, I just called back subway and the manager I spoke with still has to speak with the owner. However, I called Cheddar's back and I am now a server. I call back next week to find out when orientation and training is. So yes. Everyone come and see me while I am working and leave monster tips. I don't know, people in this town don't tip very well but if nothing else, it will be an experience and should be a lot of fun. If I do end up getting the job at Subway, I might try to work things out to where I can have three jobs but I don't really want to do that because then I will be splitting things up too much and that extra money I am trying to pick up will just be wasted. So yes, I do believe I will take the job at Cheddar's, it will be something new at least. For now, time to eat and possibly clean. | | |
| Well damn. Today has been a pretty good day. I have been in a great mood all day and I am not 100% sure why. It has just been one of those "happy" days.
In other news: Went out to Dann's place with Lauren last night. We hung out and watched "Groove". I love that movie and had to introduce the two of them to it. Then, in the middle of the movie, Dann turns to me and says: "this is SO Phill Fest". So yes. Phill Fest is going down fuckers. We are probably going to get Dann's barn cleaned up and have it there. I am not too sure about that right now either.
I just finished watching "The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys". All I can say is "Damn". It is one of the greatest movies I have seen in a very long time. The last movie I saw that made me cry was Pay It Forward. And I saw that in theatres, so you know how long ago that was. This one made me cry as well. If you haven't seen it yet, rent it, fuck, buy it. If you don't cry, then you are a heartless piece of shit. 'nuff said.
On a lighter note, I also watched Wedding Crashers today and American Pie's Band Camp. Both of them were pretty funny. Wedding Crashers was definately a chick and dick flick. Band camp was as well but with a complete twist that I never saw coming.
Well, that about sums up my day. Time to go and update www.xanga.com/phillsvowofcelibacy. you guys should swing on over there as well.
